I just stumbled across the artworks of Kylli Sparre, an Estonian photographer. I really like the surrealistic elements in her work. A fantasy world that seems beautiful but scary at the same time. Kylli's work is displayed at the Qlick Editions gallery in Amsterdam until November 15.
A CREATIVE OUTLET
According to Qlick Editions gallery, the photographer dreamt of being a ballet dancer in her youth. She went through years of training before she realized that ballet was not for her. It is clear that ballet influences her work though, as it is dominated by the fine lines of the woman's body.
